Teeling Whiskey Co. is founded by Jack Teeling. Since 1782 the Teeling family have been crafting Irish Whiskey. From Walter Teeling in 1782 who setup a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in Dublin to John Teeling who founded Cooley Distillery in 1987, the first new Irish whiskey distillery to be establish in Ireland in over 100 years.
Matured in Californian red wine barrels, Teeling Single Grain Non Chill-filtered Irish Whiskey is one of only a handful of Single Grain bottlings in the world, offering fruit and spice aromas on the nose with an underlying sweetness of vanilla and apple pie. The full-bodied palate opens with a bold spice note developing into lush red berries, rose petal and lemon curd, accentuated by subtle flavors of cinnamon and dried herbs. The finish is long and dry dominated by wood and spice.
