Unlike many other tequila producers, Partida only uses blue agave from their own carefully tended estate, allowing them complete control over quality from the soil to the bottle. Partida is the first tequila to ever earn a five star rating for their entire line in F. Paul Pacult's Spirit Journal, and was described as "simply the finest Tequilas that money can buy."
Partida "Elegante" Tequila Extra Anejo is distilled from their own estate grow blue agave, carefully hand selected by Enrique Partida himself and aged for more than 36 months in American oak barrels. This full-bodied tequila offers complex aromas of cedar, chocolate, citrus, caramel, and agave. On the palate, notes of cinnamon, dark berry, caramel, sweet spice and toffee integrates seamlessly with the rich agave flavor and extend throughout the long, flavorful and intense finish.
"This super-smooth, limited-edition Tequila is aged up to 40 months in American oak. Bright, with a rich golden color, there is an initial flurry of black pepper, sprightly jalapeño and vanilla notes that settle into a warm, mellow crème brûlée groove. Lovely gift-worthy packaging includes a black leather strap tied around the neck of the hefty bottle, plus a crystal decanter stopper." - Wine Enthusiast
