Single distilled from a mash of locally farmed rice (95%) and freshly harvested, organic lemongrass (5%), Mizu "Lemongrass" Shochu is handcrafted in the tradition way with an innovative twist by master distillers Shinji Wada and Hirofumi Okoba. The resulting spirit opens with a gentle notes of lemongrass, followed by hints of lemon, melon, and sweet cereals. The silky smooth palate is bright, ricey, herbaceous, and citrusy.
