Hailing from a hillside distillery in North West Oregon, Henry DuYore's Straight Rye Whiskey is distilled 35% in their 265 and 660 gallon Prulho alembic copper stills and 65% Column distilled at Lawrenceburg. Created from 78% Rye and 22% Barley, Henry DuYore's Rye is aged for eighteen months in new American oak barrels.
Henry DuYore's Straight Rye Whiskey opens with a pronounced nose of pine sap, celery root and sweet rye loaf with an undercurrent of malted barley. Complex notes of dried fruit, toffee, citrus, and exotic high notes of hibiscus and agave emerge on the medium bodied palate and linger through the long finish.
