ArteNOM "Seleccion de 1146" Tequila Anejo is created by Master Distiller Enrique Fonseca at Casa Tequileña in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco. Sixty percent of this anejo was matured in French oak for two years, while forty percent was matured in French oak for three years. They were then expertly married together and aged for one more year in American White Oak bourbon barrels, resulting in an exceptional spirit with remarkable underlying complexity. Inviting aromas of mature agave, toasted almond and creamy vanilla are followed by layered notes of dried fruit, baking spice and black pepper on the palate. Complementing hints of vanilla and oak emerge on the long, earthy finish.
