Bodegas del Campo "Pagos de Quintana" Ribera del Duero Crianza is created from 100% Tempranillo from vines more than thirty years of age. The vineyard is located at 800m altitude. The wine went through 10 days of malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aged initially for 14 months in American and French oak barrels and then aged in bottle for another 12 months before release.
Dark cherry in color, Bodegas del Campo "Pagos de Quintana" Ribera del Duero Crianza opens with a clean and bright nose of fresh red fruit, vanilla, cocoa, candied fruit and toasted oak. The full bodied palate is well structured with polished tannins and balanced acidity, offering notes of ripe black fruit, banana, berry jam, toast and earth. Bold notes of spice and hints of cherry lingers through the long finish.
