Vina Concha y Toro was established in 1883 by politician and businessman Don Melchor Concha y Toro, when he brought noble French grapevines from the Bordeaux region to plant in the Maipo Valley. Through the years, the winery has greatly expanded their vineyards, acquiring land in Argentina as well as California, allowing them to express a variety of terriors in their highly acclaimed wines.
Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay hails from a vineyard located 135 meters above sea level on the south bank of the Limari River. Matured in French oak for twelve months, this fresh, fruit-forward white is brimming with lovely top notes of pear, apple, melon and tangerine. Complementing flavors of jasmine, vanilla and dried fig merge with bright acidity on the crisp, mineral finish.
