J.M. Gobillard & Fils is located in the heart of the Champagne region, in the beautiful village of Hautvillers, only 5 km from Epernay. Back in year 1681 Grande Celliers Dom Perignon invented Champagne as we know it today, because of which, Hautvillers has become the most famous village in the region. J.M. Gobillard & Fils cultivates about 25 hectares, mainly in the Premier Cru vineyard in Hautvillers. Every phase of production is strictly controlled to fully respect the Champagne tradition.
J.M. Gobillard & Fils Tradition Brut NV is a traditional blend of three grape varieties. It is crafted from 30% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 35% Pinot Meunier. The wine is aged for at least two years in the cellars and 30% of reserve wines are reincorporated when assembling for taste and quality consistency. The result is a well integrated wine with fine and elegant nose, mouth watering acidity and bouquet of aromas of baked apple, pear, papaya, honeysuckle and white jasmine.
"Tightly meshed and vibrant, with juicy acidity backing hints of pineapple and papaya, showing flavors of chalk, biscuit, plum and fresh ginger. A note of zesty spice graces the fresh, mineral-tinged finish.” - Wine Spectator
