France Gonzalvez "G" Beaujolais-Villages Red is created from 100% Gamay from vines 50-70 years old planted on granite. The wine is raised in 1/3 concrete cuve and 2/3 old, neutral Burgundy barrels. The result is a structured, light, fruit-forward red offering enticing aromas of cherry, plum and wildflowers. Lively red fruit notes on the palate are complemented by vibrant acidity, soft, round tannins, mineral notes and a long, earthy finish.
