Xoriguer "Mahon" Gin is one of only three Geographically Designated Gins in the world available in the United States. This gin was first introduced in 1708 to satisfy the thirst of the British Navy, after which Gin became a wildly popular island drink. Produced in small batches, using centuries’ old wood fired copper stills and a long held secret botanicals family recipe, Mahon Gin has become an iconic Mediterranean spirit.
Clear with a platinum cast in color, Xoriguer "Mahon" Gin is delicate and delicious with deeply floral notes evoking lemongrass, verbena, dusty cedar and redolent of freshly cut flowers on the nose. Smooth and well balanced on the palate, Mahon Gin is luscious and versatile with notes of juniper backed by subtle spice, lemon zest and floral undertones, followed by a long, balanced finish.
