Located at the heart of the Barossa Valley, the estate is a small, beautiful place tucked on the southern edge of the great Australian continent. The Barossa Valley Estate has been producing wine here since 1985 and though they have won much praise and several accolades along the way, they still consider themselves as a relative newcomer. The Barossa Valley Estate produces only red wines, namely Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and GSM. After all, these are the greatest wines from Barossa Valley.
Crafted from 45% Grenache, 41% Shiraz and 14% Mourvedre from the heritage clone vines and aged in tight grain, medium toasted French oak barrels, Barossa Valley Estate Grenache - Shiraz - Mourvedre is a rich, flavorful red offering fragrant violet note followed by a burst of red berry fruits on the nose. The medium bodied palate offers balanced acidity and soft tannins with a velvety texture. Subtle notes of spice and white pepper lingers through the long finish.
