In Gaelic, Auchentoshan means "the corner of the field". Appropriately named, the distillery is situated between the Kilpatrick Hills, Loch Lomond, and the modern city of Glasgow. Unlike any other distillery in Scotland, the spirit is triple distilled to create a single malt whisky that is both pure and smooth.
Bright copper in color, Auchentoshan 21 Year Old Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been aged in American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks or 21 years. This triple distilled Lowland single malt offers enticing aromas of ripe gooseberry with sweet vanilla and oak, combines with freshly cut barley flavor. The palate presents the signature smooth, delicate Auchentoshan taste with notes of light chocolate and soft green fruit, and a twist of old oak and honey. A long and lasting finish, demonstrates the real depth of character of this scotch.
