Located in the Cote de Ventoux village of Mormoiron, Domaine le Murmurium was comprised of thirteen hectares of old vineyards on prime terrior in the Rhone Valley. The estate was purchased by Marc and Anne Pichon in 2008, who greatly expanded the property and began cultivating the vineyards using organic practices. Their main goal is to maintain a style of rich, handcrafted wines through careful vineyard management, low yields and late harvesting. The original name of the property is derived from Latin, meaning "The Buzzing Song of Bees", which is honored by the crest on the Anne Pichon labels.
Composed of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah, Anne Pichon "Gris Montagne" is a light, elegant rose with a delicate floral nose leading to vibrant berry notes on the palate. A subtle spiciness emerges on the refreshing finish.
