Located in the historic Gates Neighborhood of Denver Colorado, the folks at the Law's Whiskey House take an obsessive, hands-on approach to every aspect of whiskey production. This is where they mill their grains, combine them and cook them to create an incredibly complex sour mash and let it open-air ferment for four days. They would then slowly distill it in a custom made four plate pot/column still to coax out the delicate spirit. The distillate is then aged for a minimum of two years in full sized American White Oak barrels.
Crafted from a carefully managed mash bill of 60% corn, 20% wheat, 10% rye and 10% barley, A. D. Laws Four Grain Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a delightful showcase of all four of the American "mother grains", offering a rich, smooth and well-rounded bourbon with layers of vanilla, ripe cherry, raisin, toffee, cinnamon and toasted nuts complemented by hints of dark chocolate and spice on the finish.
