Description   Le Champ du Coq is a traditional wine from this terroir that balances easy drinking with pleasant complexity. A strong ruby color, it shows aromas of dark berries, vanilla and spice. On the palate it is ample and full-bodied with flavors of stewed berries, thyme and rosemary. This red makes an excellent accompaniment for grilled red meat, casseroles, beef stews, and even game.
