Cantina Parocco Langhe Nebbiolo G.D. Vajra Albe Barolo Giacomo Conterno Cerretta Langhe Nebbiolo

Dark ruby red in color, Cantina Parocco Langhe Nebbiolo is crafted with 100% declassified Barbaresco Nebbiolo and aged for more than two years in oak barrels. The resulting wine is a crowd-pleaser from start to finish. The nose displays lovely aromas of rose, wild berry, plum and earth which carry through to the medium bodied but complex palate with underlying notes of licorice, red currant and dried mushroom backed by balanced acidity and structured tannins which lead to a clean, dry finish.

Created with a selection of grapes from each of G.D. Vajra's Nebbiolo Vineyards, Albe Barolo is an elegant, distinctive young wine with generous aromas of red berries, anise and rose petals. Rich flavors of cherry, orange peel and oak are supported by a strong mineral backbone, bold acidity and firm tannins.

Seghesio Barolo Sobrero Barolo Chinato

Seghesio Barolo is big, concentrated and structured with a fresh, fruit-driven personality and a velvety texture. The nose offers inviting notes of crushed cherry, plum and dried rose petal which carry through to the smooth, complex palate. Underlying earthy notes of licorice, dried mushroom and tobacco complement balanced acidity, sweet tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Sobrero Barolo Chinato is produced by infusing grain alcohol with chinaroot, rhubarb, gentian, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and other herbs and spices for forty days, then blending the infusion into a sweetened wine base composed of nebbiolo. A highly aromatic nose of red fruit, rhubarb, chinchina and cinnamon follows through to an elegant, beautifully balanced palate offering delicately sweet notes of cherry, plum, dried herbs and dark chocolate. A touch of vanilla merges with a complex array of herbs and spices on the long finish.
