Created with a selection of grapes from each of G.D. Vajra's Nebbiolo Vineyards, Albe Barolo is an elegant, distinctive young wine with generous aromas of red berries, anise and rose petals. Rich flavors of cherry, orange peel and oak are supported by a strong mineral backbone, bold acidity and firm tannins.
92 Points - Wine Spectator Giacomo Conterno "Cerretta" Langhe Nebbiolo boasts an enticing nose of cherry, strawberry and dried roses. The medium bodied palate is soft, approachable and full of character, with bright notes of ripe fruit, geranium and mint that lead to a spicy, balanced finish.
Orsolani Carema La Tabbie is created from Nebbiolo grapes grown on the tabbie (terraces) built into the mountains of Carema. After fermentation, it ages in oak casks for at least 3 years and then is further refined in the bottle for one year before it is sold. The result is a soft, elegant red with concentrated notes of cherry, raspberry and rose petals, accented by a light spiciness on the long, balanced finish.
