Bruno Paillard Premiere Cuvee Brut Rose is made primarily from first-press Pinot Noir with a small percentage of Chardonnay for an added dimension. Subtle aromatics of ripe apple, vanilla, toast, and rose petal introduce a lingering and complex palate with mouthwatering acidity, lush mousse, and intriguing flavors of tart cherry, strawberry, grapefruit, and ginger.

Situated on the North Fork of Long Island, Croteaux is a highly unusual winery; uniquely, they only produce rose. Their grapes are harvested at the optimal time for pink rather than red wine, when the grapes' skin i just thick enough to impart gentle tannins and subtle color. This specialization shows in this equally unusual but utterly delightful blush. Croteaux 3 Merlot Rose is fermented in oak, which seems a risky proposition. However, the unexpected vanilla, butterscotch, and praline notes integrate beautifully with its aromas and flavors of strawberry and raspberry. Only 198 cases produced.
