Genevieve Genever is the Anchor Distilling Company's attempt at re-creating early genever, which was based on pot-distilled grain mash. While they use the same botanicals that go into their Junipero Dry Gin, this is an entirely unique spirit. Unlike English gins, it is a robust, rich, almost oily spirit that will mix beautifully in classic cocktails.

Junipero Gin is made by hand in the classic "distilled dry gin" tradition, utilizing more than a dozen botanicals in their natural state. Anchor Distilling has achieved a distinctive, intriguing complexity in Junipero Gin: light and crisp and clean, combining a deep and mysterious spiciness with subtle delicacy.

On both the nose and palate, Ethereal Gin is bursting with botanicals. Vivid aromas of eucalyptus, honey, and fruit lead to bold flavors of juniper, pepper, and dried spice. Full bodied and smooth, this limited edition gin makes an excellent cocktail.

Berkshire Mountain Distillers, established in 2007, is the region's first legal distillery since prohibition. The small farm distillery draws there water from a local spring, and source local farm products whenever possible in producing their spirits. Greylock Gin is produced with a blend of botanicals, which are packed into a gin head suspended over a pot still. This London dry style gin impresses with its balance, concentration of flavor, and exceptional character in cocktails.

Bols Genever is a rich, full-bodied spirit made with over 50% malt wine, which is copper pot-distilled from rye, corn, and wheat. It is then infused with carefuly blended distillate of botanicals, resulting in a wonderfully balanced, sippable spirit. Many classic cocktails called for genever in their original incarnations, and while Bols' interpretation is weighty enough to please the palate straight, it's still extremely cocktail-friendly. Miles away from London Dry, this is a gin for whiskey drinkers.

Boomsma Jonge is a light and elegant gin with just the subtlest hint of juniper, coriander and citrus. The palate is what sets this genever apart from the average gin: though the botanicals are delicate and subtle, this is a satisfyingly full-bodied yet incredibly smooth spirit.

Remarkably different from their Jonge, Boomsma Oude Fine Old Genever is a rich, weighty, full-bodied spirit crafted with wheat spirit, malt distillate, and oak barrel aging. While it displays all the juniper notes you could hope for in a genever, it also integrates rich vanilla, apple, and baking spice notes. We enjoy our Boomsma Oude straight, but we're confident you'll find exciting ways to mix it.

Cadenhead's Old Raj is a distinctive spirit: in addition to traditional botanicals, it contains a measure of saffron, the rare and costly spice derived from the crocus flower. In addition to a slightly spicy flavor, this also imparts a pale yellow color to Old Raj.

Citadelle Gin is based on a recipe developed by a distillery in Dunkirk in 1771. Dunkirk was a significant port for spice traders, and this influence is clear in this gin; starting with triple-distilled wheat spirit, Citadelle is made with a full 19 botanicals from around the world. The result is complex, layered, and compelling with a round, subtly sweet finish.

Citadelle Gin Reserve is matured for six months in Pierre Ferrand Cognac casks, lending the spirit a pale gold color, along with enticing vanilla, baking spice, and oak notes. While we weren't quite sure what to expect, this unusual gin is complex, warming, and delicious.

Aalborg Aquavit is based on a secret recipe dating back more than five centuries. Full bodied, with rich aromas and flavors of dried herbs and spices, it's excellent paired with fish entrees or as an apertif. In cocktails, it's distinct caraway flavor adds a unique component to the recipe.
