Aged in caratelli for 10 years, Avignonesi "Occhio di Pernice" is a rich, viscous and intensely sweet Prugnolo Gentile which shows remarkable power and density. A pronounced nose of dried fruit, roasted chestnut, brown sugar, sweet fig and espresso elegantly merge with mocha, licorice, leather, vanilla and caramel on the graceful, full-bodied palate. Enjoy through 2029.

Barros Colheita Tawny Port offers an expressive nose of ripe berry, licorice and crushed rose petal, accented by a note of toasted almond. The full-bodied, off-dry palate displays earthy, concentrated flavors of blackberry, raisin, violet and spice, complemented by velvety tannins, firm acidity and a long, fruit-forward finish.

Barros Late Bottled Vintage Port is a bold, fruit-driven wine offering an elegant nose of ripe red berry, blackcurrant, dark chocolate and spice. Blandy's 15 Year Old Malmsey is sweet, full bodied and complex, with earthy notes of dried fruit, toffee, vanilla, and oak on the nose and palate. The lingering finish displays hints of roasted nuts and dark chocolate. It is an excellent accompaniment to cakes, fruit, chocolate pudding, and rich cheeses.

Blandy's Malmsey Colheita Madeira 1996 offers enticing aromas of dried fruit, toffee and dark chocolate. Notes of vanilla, oak, toasted almond and honey appear on the sweet, full bodied palate and linger through the long finish. It is an excellent accompaniment to cakes, fruit, chocolate, pralines and rich cheeses.

Alvada is an excellent value Madeira composed of Malmsey and Bual and aged for five years. The result is medium-bodied but richly flavorful with notes of fig, date, and roasted nuts. A delicate sweetness makes this an excellent after-dinner treat.
