Chateau Peyros Magenta Clos la Coutale Domaine Chiroulet "Terroir Gascon" Cotes de Gascogne Rouge

Composed of 50% Tannat and 50% Cabernet Franc, this wine is a vibrant magenta color - hence the name - with an equally vibrant nose of black currant, blackberry, cherry, and allspice. The palate is medium-bodied and fresh with notes of slate and fresh herbs. Enjoy with grilled meat dishes and assertive cheese.


Clos la Coutale is a mindblowing Cahors with firm structure, rich texture, and a wonderful depth of fruit. Malbec—contributing deep, earthy, ripe plumminess and lush tannins—is rounded out by the addition of 20% Merlot. This is a delicious, satisfying value.

Situated on the highest slopes in Gascony that face south towards the Pyrenees, the Domaine Chiroulet have been a family business for six generations. The unique Tenareze soil and the topography of the estate is ideal for growing potent, ripe grapes. The Terroir Gascon is a blend of 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Tannat. This rich, complex wine offers an expressive nose, with red and black fruits, plums, and a bit of cocoa on the back palate. The addition of the Tannat grape offers a masculine edge with dry, velvety tannins.

Domaine Mouthes le Bihan "La Pie Colette" Cotes de Duras Rouge Georges Vigoroux Gouleyant Malbec Laplace Madiran

A blend of three grape varieties: 75 % Merlot, 15 % Malbec and 10 % Cabernet Sauvignon, Domaine Mouthes le Bihan "La Pie Colette" Cotes de Duras Rouge is a fruit forward wine with balanced acidity, well integrated tannins and a velvety, meaty palate offering concentrated notes of black currant, cherry and wild herbs, complemented by a light veil of oak. Enjoy with grilled meat dishes and assertive cheese.

The Gouleyant, produced primarily from Cahor’s Malbec grapes, is a rich red with prominent flavors of raspberry, blackcurrant, cherries and toast. Rich, luscious and well balanced, this wine pairs with duck, goose, lamb, red meats and cheese.

Laplace Madiran is composed of 80% Tannat, 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a concentrated, powerful and utterly likable red with abundant plum, blueberry, blackberry and black currant on the nose and palate.

Lionel Osmin Pied de Perdrix

This interesting red from Lionel Osmin is composed of Pied de Perdrix, or Partridge Foot, a relatively unknown cousin of the Malbec grape grown in Southwestern France near Cahors. Although the nose and palate are quite similar to a traditional French Malbec, the round, generous notes of ripe red fruit are complemented by hints of earth, mushroom and woodsmoke. Gentle tannins and balanced acidity merge with a touch of vanilla on the lengthy, fruit-forward finish.
