91 Points - Wine Enthusiast
Chateau de Manissy Cotes du Rhone is an elegant blend of grenache, clairette and cinsault which have been fermented together and matured in wooden vats. An assertive nose of blackberry, cassis, dried flowers and fresh pine needles leads to a powerful palate offering a complex array of dark fruit and spice notes with well concentrated flavors with plenty of midpalate density. Domaine de la Vieille Julienne Chateauneuf-du-Pape Reserve 2006 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe Chateauneuf-du-Pape Domaine Galevan Cotes du Rhone White

96+ Points - Wine Advocate
A candidate for the wine of the vintage, the 2006 Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve exhibits an opaque purple color, peppery, spicy, earthy notes, full-bodied intensity, and outstanding concentration, purity, and length. It is another sensational wine, but finding a few bottles will be difficult given the microscopic production. It should drink nicely for 20+ years, atypically long for a 2006.
