Botalcura Carmenere Reserva Casas Patronales Carmenere Morande Pionero Carmenere

Aromatic, complex and full flavored, Botalcura Carmenere Reserva shows the varietal at its best. Lively notes of cherry, honey and vanilla emerge on both the nose and palate and are balanced by hints of tobacco and woodsmoke. A year's aging in oak casks contributes soft, rounded tannins and a spicy, smokey finish.

This is a full, rich red with aromas of cherry, green bell pepper and cracked peppercorn. The palate is velvety and well-balanced with notes of plum fruit, vanilla and chocolate.

Morande "Pionero" Carmenere is an elegant, medium-bodied red showing lovely notes of blackberry, plum and fresh mint on both the nose and palate. Smooth tannins and balanced acidity meet hints of vanilla and oak on the finish.

Quintay Clava Carmenere Reserve Rayun Carmenere Tres Palacios Carmenere Reserve

Quintay "Clava" Carmenere Reserve is a bright, fruit-forward red brimming with notes of blueberry, plum, wildflowers and black pepper on both the nose and palate. Ripe tannins and balanced acidity meet hints of vanilla and menthol on the oak-driven finish.

This deep ruby wine has chocolate, cherries, and dark berries on the nose, along with a hint of fresh herbs. The palate is bursting with sweet blackberry and cocoa that leads to a soft, but lingering finish. Serve with red meat or pasta dishes.

The fruit for this Carmenere comes from a low-yield vineyard in the Cholqui Valley, a region that this grape is particularly well-suited to. Aging for ten months on French oak barrels lends spicebox and leather notes to Tres Palacios Carmenere Reserve, balancing out a bushel of ripe plum and blueberry. Gentle tannins nip on the finish, lending satisfying structure.
