While you may not be familiar with the Jasnieres appellation of the Loire Valley, this Chenin Blanc is complex and compelling from start to finish. Bright notes of peach, lime, and honeysuckle lead to a vibrant palate, which introduces flavors of grapefruit, lime, and sea salt.

Though India may seem an unlikely region for producing world-class wine, Sula Vineyards does just that. Their Chenin Blanc's pleasant semi-sweetness is balanced by mild acidity; it is similar in style to a demi-sec Vouvray, but its origin imparts a unique character to this wine.

This small-production bottling is composed of 100% Chenin Blanc and is bottled fresh and young, without ever being oaked. It is designed to offer the striking crispness that is expected from the Loire, but contains a very small amount of residual sugar for an added layer of complexity. Subtle notes of apricot and green apple present themselves on the nose, but are much more vibrant on the palate when complemented by bright notes of ripe pear and citrus fruit.
