Berta Grappa di Gavi Black Dirt AppleJack Caffo Grappa di Greco

Made by the same historic distillery as the spectacular Bric del Gaian, Berta Grappa di Gavi is a wonderful unaged introduction to this producer. This spirit is made with 15% free-run juice, with 15% from Gavi grapes. The result is a balanced, aromatic, and flavorful delight perfect for sipping after a meal.

Both the nose and palate offer pronounce notes of fresh, sweet apples accompanied by subtle notes of caramel, cinnamon and honey. The lingering finish is accentuated by hints of oak and baking spice. The potent proof of alcohol makes it ideal for cocktail.

This pure, smooth grappa is distilled from grape skins from ancient Greek varietals that were brought to southern Italy centuries ago. Sweet and aromatic, with soft notes of fruit and spice, this is an excellent representation of Calabrian grappa, historically known as Magna Grecia.

Carpene Malvolti Grappa Bianca Castarede Armagnac Vintage 1985 Chateau de Briat Hors d Age Bas Armagnac

Distilled from 100% Prosecco di Conegliano, the grape used for sparkling Prosecco, Carpene Malvoti Grappa Bianca retains the unique character of the fruit in its delicate, rich aromatics and elegant palate.

Founded in 1832 under Napoleon III, Castarede is the oldest Armagnac trading house in existence. Their vineyards are situated in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac region and are planted with Folle Blache, Colombard and Saint-Emillion varietals, which are carefully monitored to ensure quality. After the distillation process, the Armagnacs are aged in black oak barrels for a number of years in the family's 100 year old cellars. One is situated on the banks of the Baise river at Pont de Bordes, which is an exceptional location for aging Armagnac due to the temperature-regulating effect of the river. The other is surrounded by their vineyards in Bas-Armagnac.

This Armagnac is aged for twelve years, imparting this fine spirit with a warm amber color, a supple texture, and notes of chocolate, vanilla, toffee, licorice, and sweet oak. Chateau Briat Hors d'Age is composed of 75% Bacco, 15% Folle Blanche, and 10% Colombard.
