Bright copper in color, Auchentoshan 21 Year Old Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been aged in American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks or 21 years. This triple distilled Lowland single malt offers enticing aromas of ripe gooseberry with sweet vanilla and oak, combines with freshly cut barley flavor. The palate presents the signature smooth, delicate Auchentoshan taste with notes of light chocolate and soft green fruit, and a twist of old oak and honey. A long and lasting finish, demonstrates the real depth of character of this scotch.

Avignonesi Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is an artful blend of Sangiovese grapes from 10 to 39 years old vines from eight different estates located in the Montepulciano DOCG production area. The wine is aged for 12 months in French barriques and 6 months in large Slovenian oak casks, for a total of 18 months, followed by a minimum of 6 months in the bottle. The nose offers intense aromas of red berry fruit, sweet spice and Mediterranean herbs. Ripe red currant, cherry, leather and tobacco appear on the silky palate, where lively acidity and polished tannins lend shape and structure with a savoury and long lingering finish. Perfect with red meat, game or a selection of cheeses.

Bodegas Enrique Mendoza "La Tremenda" Monastrell is crafted from 100% matured vine Monastrell. The name "La Tremenda" refers to the name of the vineyard from which the grapes are grown and harvested. Bright ruby-red in color, La Tremenda Monastrell displays expressive notes of fresh black cherries and red berries mingled with hints of sweet spice, toast and cocoa. This accessible red offers a medium bodied palate with silky texture, modest tannins and balanced acidity. Hints of black plum and cherry lingers through the long, persistent finish. Pairs well with pork chops Normandy, Kobe beef, or parmesan crusted asparagus tips.

Deep mahogany with a rich ruby blush in color, Bowmore 23 Year Old Port Cask Matured Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky offers complex aromas of plum skins, black cherries and dark chocolate interwoven with notes of sandalwood, walnuts, wood smoke and sea-salt. The full-bodied palate offers a velvety mouthfeel with luscious layered flavors of autumn fruits, tingly winter spices, blood orange and sensual winter black truffles. Rich smoky notes with underlying aromas of blood orange, truffle and walnut oil lingers through the long finish.

Creta Roble Ribera del Duero Tempranillo is a joint venture between Eric Solomon and Rafael de Haan. The wine is created from 100% Tempranillo from 70 year old vineyards located at the highest altitude of Ribera del Duero. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for 4-5 months in recycled French and American oak barrels. The result is a opaque purple colored wine with bouquet of aromas of fresh red fruit, incense, candied fruit, spices and mocha. The full bodied palate is well structured with polished tannins and balanced acidity, offering notes of berry jam, mulberry, concentrated fruit, banana, toast and earth. Subtle spice and floral notes lingers through the long finish. Pairs great with Beef, Lamb, Pork, Game (deer, venison) and Spicy food.

Domaine de la Vieille Julienne "Les Trois Sources" Chateauneuf-du-Pape Reserve exhibits an opaque purple color, peppery, spicy, earthy notes, full-bodied intensity, and outstanding concentration, purity, and length. It is another sensational wine, but finding a few bottles will be difficult given the microscopic production. It should drink nicely for 20+ years.

On the palate it's velvety, with intense, complex persistent apricot, dried fig, toasted almond, date and caramel aromas, yet almost weightless as it layers the apricot, honey and burnt molasses flavors effortlessly from start to finish. It will work very well as a dessert wine, with dry confectionary or crème brûlée, and it will also work well with blue cheeses and foie gras.

Santa Alicia "De Los Andes" Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is created from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that are sourced primarily from the winery’s own lots located on the foothills of the Andes Mountains. Grapes are hand-picked to avoid damaging the clusters, and then processed and de-stemmed. The fruit is cold macerated for 3-5 days in stainless steel tanks before proceeding to alcoholic fermentation. The wine is aged in fine-grain French oak barrels for 12 to 14 months. The result is a deep ruby red colored wine with a complex and intense nose, offering notes of blackberry, wild berries and ripe plum. The full bodied palate offers expansive tannins and balanced acidity with distinctive aromas of leather, cinnamon, clove and smoke. Hints of dark chocolate lingers through the long, silky finish.

Venge Vineyards "Bone Ash Vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon is created from 25+ year old vines of Cabernet Clones #7 and #8 of their Calistoga Estate “Bone Ash Vineyard”. The fruits are hand sorted and destemmed into a combination of concrete and stainless steel fermenters. Time on skins lasts a lengthy 39 days. The fruit is then lightly pressed, keeping “free run” and “press” fractions separate and aged in 85% new, tight grained French Oak barrels for a total of 22 months. While they do add yeast to finish primary fermentation, they allow the indigenous malolactic bacteria to complete the secondary fermentation. The wine is bottled unfiltered.
