Bodegas Ponce "Depaula" Monastrell Juan Gil Jumilla Monastrell Macho Man Monastrell MMM Jumilla

Composed of 55% Cabernet Franc, 40% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, this limited edition wine offers complex layers of raspberry, blueberry, spice and green pepper on both the nose and palate. Aging in French and American oak for 18 months imparts distinct notes of vanilla and oak that merge with bold earth flavors on the finish. Medium bodied with supple tannins, this wine pairs well with red meat, game, and hearty pasta dishes.

This red is composed of 100% Monastrell grown from 40 year old parcels. Shallow, chalky soils on a bed of limestone and rock, combined with an arid climate, produce low yields for a wine of deep complexity.

Created from 100% Monastrell and aged for 6 months in French oak barrels, Macho Man Monastrell "MMM" Jumilla opens with aromas of cherry, plum and mineral notes. The palate is elegant and velvety with notes of ripe red fruit, plums, balsamic and roasted chocolate. Soft, round tannins and balanced acidity leads to a long finish with toasty notes of cocoa and tar. Pair this wine with small game, mushroom risotto and fresh cheese.

Olivares Altos de la Hoya Jumilla Monastrell

Created from ungrafted old vines, Olivares "Altos de la Hoya" Monastrell delivers a spicy, fruit-forward nose of raspberry, dried flowers and allspice, backed by a touch of earth. The palate offers sweet, tangy red fruit, balanced by lively acidity, structured tannins and a bold mineral note.
