Buy Argentine Wines At DrinkUpNY!

While Argentina is mostly known for their Malbec, other noted Argentinian wines are composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Bonarda, Torrontes and other varietals. The Mendoza Province is the largest wine producing area in South America and provides the ideal growing conditions for this wide variety of grapes. Mendoza wines benefit from the high altitude and mountain climate of these vineyards and are typically rich, fruit-forward and aromatic.

Nicolas Catena Zapata is made from a selection of the best grapes grown in the Catena Zapata vineyards. The wine is only produced in outstanding vintage years. Made in an elegantly modern style, this exceptionally age-worthy wine is deeply aromatic with notes of dark fruit, anise, baking spices, and earth. The palate is layered, deep, and perfectly structured with flavors of blackberry, cherry, raspberry, violet, dark chocolate, and leather. Sweet tannins carry through the long finish.

This deep red Cabernet has aromas and flavors of ripe blackberry and pepper. Pure and unwooded, the soft, ripe tannins carry this wine through its concentrated finish. Enjoy with grilled red meat and spicy pasta dishes.

The Novecento Malbec is a deep, intense red with tints of purple. Ripe, juicy flavors of blackberries, cherries, and plums lead to notes of exotic spice on the finish. It's an ideal wine for grilled red meat and spicy pasta dishes.

Yauquen, blended from equal parts Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, is a ripe, substantial red perfectly suited for everyday drinking. Keep a bottle on hand for dinners at home and spontaneous gatherings.

Punto Final Malbec comes from vines more than 50 years old whose production is less than 8 tons per acre, resulting in concentrated and flavorful fruit. This wine is unfiltered in order to preserve its distinct varietals qualities.

Cavas del 23 Imperio de Sentidos Sauvignonasse Colonia Las Liebres Bonarda Clasica Enrique Foster Ique Malbec

Made from the unusual Sauvignonasse grape, Imperio de Sentidos is strikingly complex on both the nose and palate with fresh notes of wildflower, cedar, baking spice, and white fruit. This would be a treat at twice the price.

Colonia Las Liebres Bonarda Clasica is created from grapes grown in the warmer regions of Rivadavia and East Mendoza. Dark purple in color, this wine is dense with a rustic, hearty juiciness, ripe acidity, and warm tannins. Perfect for red meat and barbeques.

Composed of 100% Malbec, this young, fruit-forward wine offers aromas and flavors of ripe berry. Balanced with a firm structure, it exhibits soft tannins and satisfying finish. An excellent companion for red meat, pasta, and cheese.

Familia Mayol Vista Flores Bonarda Familia Schroeder Saurus Pinot Noir Gouguenheim Estaciones del Valle Valle Escondido Malbec

Sourced from the Pircas Vineyard in Vista Flores, this light bodied Bonarda is spicy and fruit-forward with notes of ripe blackberries and fresh flowers. Soft mint notes appear on the finish, where they merge with mild tannins and satisfying acidity.

The Saurus Pinot Noir is a brick red wine with aromas of flowers and berry fruits. Since the wine was aged in oak barrels, hints of vanilla and cocoa also emerge from the glass. On the palate, there are delicious flavors of cherry and wild blueberry with a touch of violet on the finish.

Gouguenheim Malbec is rich, bold and concentrated red with ample plum, black cherry, blackcurrant, chocolate and violet notes. The finish is round, lengthy and satisfying.
