Harvested by hand in Bialowieza's primeval forest, bison grass is a cultivation-resistant plant that has been flavoring vodkas since the 14th century. Zubrowka is the very best that we've found in this rather specialized category, but even if you've never heard of bison grass, this is a flat-out delicious drink. Great on its own or - strangely enough - mixed with apple juice, this is an oddball crowd-pleaser.
