In 1849, British-born Samuel Smith, purchased a 30 acre plot of land in Australia so he could begin a new life. He named his new land "Yalumba", which is Aboriginal for "all the land around". He and his son planted the first vines on the property, and five generations and 160 years later, Yalumba is Australia's oldest family owned winery.
Yalumba "The Y Series" Viognier displays fresh notes of jasmine, white peach and honeysuckle on both the nose and palate. Hints of exotic spice complement the clean, persistent finish.
