The Juan Gil Winery has been owned and operated by the Gil family since 1916. The vineyards are located throughout Jumilla, and have surprisingly been able to thrive in poor soil, extreme temperature variation and limited rainfall. The Monastrell grapes grown in this environment are very small and concentrated, but they produce balanced, full bodied and aromatic wines.

Wrongo Dongo Monastrell offers rich notes of black cherry, raspberry and plum, backed by earthy flavors of fresh herb and tobacco. Light, firm tannins and pleasant acidity lead to spicy, peppery notes on the finish.
