Made from 100% Tinta de Toro - known in most regions as Tempranillo - this wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and 10 months' maturation in French Oak barrels. Consisting of half new and half used, this judicious use of wood has imparted this bold wine with additional layers of complexity. This is an intense, complex wine displaying aromas of red berry, loamy earth, baking spices, smoke and savory herbs. The palate is ripe, concentrated and well-structured, with flavors of black cherry, toast and bacon.

Produced according to an authentic 19th century recipe, Bols Barrel Aged Genever is an exceptional new expression of the spirit. This recipe is aged in French Limousin oak barrels for at least 18 months, lending the spirit a pale golden color and adding complex notes of wood and spice to the herbaceous, juniper flavors of the original Bols Genever. The nose offers intriguing, malty aromas of mixed botanicals and oak, while slightly sweet notes of vanilla and cinnamon complement the rich, full bodied palate and lead to a spicy, complex finish.

Although known for their gentle, fruit-forward malts, Bunnahabhain is going back to their Islay roots with the release of "Toiteach" Single Malt. "Toiteach", meaning "smokey" in Scots Gaelic, displays complex aromas of dried fruit and spice, backed by a gentle smokiness. The palate however, opens with warming spice notes and bold peat smoke, which merges with fig, raisin, dates and cracked black pepper. Hints of toasted nuts and vanilla appear on the finish.

An unusual blend of organically grown varietals, Cabanon "Augurio" Oltrepo Pavese is composed mostly of croatina, which is complemented by the addition of barbera, pinot noir, syrah, cabernet and merlot. Floral, fruit-forward aromas are followed by a complex, medium-bodied palate brimming with black currant, anise, pepper and dried herbs. Lively acidity and round tannins are accented by a light mineral note on the finish.

Chateau Larose-Trintaudon Haut Medoc is an elegant, fruit-forward red composed of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Matured in French oak for twelve months, lovely notes of cherry, blackberry and blueberry are underscored by hints of subtly sweet vanilla and spice. Soft tannins and balanced acidity lend structure to the long finish.

Compass Box "The Spice Tree" is a complex blend of malt whiskies sourced from northern Highland distilleries - the majority hailing from the Clynelish Distillery. Each whisky is roughly ten years old, primarily from first-fill casks, when they are transferred into specially-constructed barrels with heavily toasted new French oak heads. On the nose, The Spice Tree offers pronounced aromas of clove, ginger and cinnamon, complemented by hints of nutmeg and vanilla. Notes of dried spice, toffee, fudge, bramble and red currant appear on the rich, full-bodied palate, and merge with hints of oak resin, lemongrass and polished leather on the long finish.

Domaine de Canton was described as "a perfect liqueur" in F. Paul Pacult's Spirit Journal, and he wasn't exaggerating. This spirit is crafted from VSOP cognac, baby ginger, vanilla beans, Provencal honey, and Tunisian ginseng, and the result is sublime; with subtle sweetness and a spicy, savory kick, Canton tastes like the Platonic ideal of ginger (and will certainly fare better in cocktails than the root). If you enjoy mixing, this is an absolute must.

Composed of Cabernet Franc, Domaine des Forges "Les 3C" has been hand harvested from 40 year old vines, fermented in small batches and aged in oak for one year. Domaine des Rouges Queues Maranges Rouge is a vibrant, fruit-forward pinot noir which has been matured in oak barrels for eighteen months. An elegant nose of ripe red fruit and wild rose leads to a medium-bodied palate brimming with notes of cherry, raspberry and vanilla. A delicate touch of caramel merges with silky tannins and satisfying acidity on the finish.
