Hailing from Shoreham, Vermont, WhistlePig "TripleOne" is a limited edition release which has been matured for eleven years and bottled at 111 proof. A complex nose of oak, caramel, smoke and vanilla leads to a bold, spicy palate boasting layers of clove, mint, allspice and ginger. When a few drops of water are added, a surprising note of Calvados emerges and gives way to leather, burnt orange and dark chocolate. Notes of caramel, butterscotch and vanilla linger through the lasting finish.
