Wahaka Mezcal is produced by fifth generation mezcaleros in the village of San Dionisio Ocotepec, located in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca in the District of Tlacolula. Recently certified organic, Wahaka is created using sustainable harvesting techniques and traditional production methods which focus on the quality of the spirit. With the exception of the Reposado con Gusano, all Wahaka mezcals are bottled unaged, which showcases the true character of the agave.

This limited edition expression of Wahaka Mezcal is created from wild Tobala agave, a small, resilient strain found on steep mountainsides and rocky cliffs. A distinctive floral nose leads to a rich, intensely flavored palate delivering earthy and herbaceous notes backed by roasted agave, smoke, wildflowers and spice. A touch of anise emerges on the long, mineral-tinged finish.
