Wahaka Mezcal is produced by fifth generation mezcaleros in the village of San Dionisio Ocotepec, located in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca in the District of Tlacolula. Recently certified organic, Wahaka is created using sustainable harvesting techniques and traditional production methods which focus on the quality of the spirit. With the exception of the Reposado con Gusano, all Wahaka mezcals are bottled unaged, which showcases the true character of the agave.

Expertly handcrafted in small batches, this expression of Wahaka Mezcal is created from wild Madre Cuishe agave, a low-yielding strain found in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca. Enticing aromas of sweet agave and fresh rain leads to a weighty, expressive palate offering layered notes of dried fruit, citrus zest, smoked agave and earth, balanced by a savory mineral finish.
