Wahaka Mezcal is produced by fifth generation mezcaleros in the village of San Dionisio Ocotepec, located in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca in the District of Tlacolula. Recently certified organic, Wahaka is created using sustainable harvesting techniques and traditional production methods which focus on the quality of the spirit. With the exception of the Reposado con Gusano, all Wahaka mezcals are bottled unaged, which showcases the true character of the agave.

Handcrafted from estate-grown Espadin agave, Wahaka Mezcal Joven Espadin delivers bold, distinctive notes of smoke, sweet agave and earth, accented by hints of citrus, vanilla and spice. A trace of black pepper merges with notes of roasted agave and mineral on the earthy finish.
