Wahaka Mezcal is produced by fifth generation mezcaleros in the village of San Dionisio Ocotepec, located in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca in the District of Tlacolula. Recently certified organic, Wahaka is created using sustainable harvesting techniques and traditional production methods which focus on the quality of the spirit. With the exception of the Reposado con Gusano, all Wahaka mezcals are bottled unaged, which showcases the true character of the agave.

A unique blend of 50% Espadin, 25% Tobala and 25% Madre Cuishe, Wahaka Mezcal Joven Ensamble is a fascinating spirit with enticing aromas and a full, complex palate which is constantly evolving. The nose is heavily influenced by the Tobala, offering distinctive floral notes which pave the way for a full, intensely flavored palate. Bold floral and herbaceous notes from the Tobala merge with flavors of earth, citrus and mineral, contributed by the Madre Cuishe, while the Espadin serves as a base which carries the intense flavors through the long finish.
