Description

The Curatolo family has been producing Marsala wine since 1875, when Vito Curatolo Arini decided to build a winery within his own vineyards. He collaborated with Martin Shuvabaten, a commercial expert from Switzerland, to transform the winery into a successful Marsala business. By the beginning of the 1900s, the winery was transporting their products throughout Europe, and were one of the first wineries exporting to the USA and South America. Their iconic label, created by noted architect Ernesto Basile, has since become a symbol of high quality, yet affordable, Marsala wines.

Composed of Grillo, Cataratto and Inzolia, Vito Curatolo Arini Sweet Marsala Superiore Dolce has been aged for at least five years in Slavonian oak casks. Bold aromas of figs, roasted almonds and sultanas give way to a mellow, full bodied palate with subtly sweet notes of dried fruit, honeysuckle and caramel.
