Aged in caratelli for 10 years, Avignonesi "Occhio di Pernice" is a rich, viscous and intensely sweet Prugnolo Gentile which shows remarkable power and density. A pronounced nose of dried fruit, roasted chestnut, brown sugar, sweet fig and espresso elegantly merge with mocha, licorice, leather, vanilla and caramel on the graceful, full-bodied palate. In the making of this limited spirit, the Malt Master, David Stewart, carefully selected rare reserves of Balvenie that had been matured for 21 years in traditional oak casks, and transferred them to port casks for a few months. On the nose, The Balvenie "Portwood Finished" 21 Year Old offers aromas of ripe fruit, raisin and peat smoke, backed by notes of toffee and toasted almond. The influence of the port casks is especially noticeable on the palate, where it mingles with complex flavors of peat, honey, anise and marzipan. Notes of spice, cedar and walnut appear on the long, smooth finish.

Berta Bric del Gaian was distilled from marc of the aromatic Moscato grape in small copper pot stills, and then aged in medium-toasted barrels from October of 1995 until February 2006. The result is an absolutely incomparable grappa that will grab you from first sip.

Chartreuse Yellow V.E.P. has been given special treatment, allowing it to reach exceptional quality. It is made with the same secret formula as the traditional liqueur, but it has been subjected to long periods of aging in oak casks. The V.E.P. is produced in a very limited quantity with a wax-sealed cork, a back-label wax-stamped with the Chartreuse seal, and presented in a wooden box marked with a branding iron. Every bottle is identified by it's own number.

The Dalmore "1263 King Alexander III" is a rich, luxurious single malt which has been matured for decades in a variety of wine casks. Aged Oloroso and Madeira butts lend a backbone of crushed almond and lively citrus fruit, while Port and Marsala casks add hints of wild berry and ripe plum. Warm vanilla and toffee notes from the bourbon barrels are accented by a touch of ripe red fruit from the Cabernet Sauvignon barriques. Hints of cinnamon, dark chocolate, coffee and lavender add depth and complexity to the bold oak finish.

This very limited release from Emilio Lustau is composed entirely of Pedro Ximenez that hails from one cask selected from a Solera set aside as a family reserve in the 1930s. It has been aged for over 30 years, allowing it to be certified V.O.R.S. (Vinum Optimum Rare Signatum) by the Sherry Council. On the nose, this exceptional sherry boasts enticing aromas of figs, dates, raisins and licorice, complemented by a subtle hint of roasted coffee beans.
