The King's Ginger Liqueur was specifically formulated by Berry Bros. in 1903 for King Edward VII. It was a project commissioned by The Royal Physician who was concerned about the monarch's health, since he was exposed to the elements while driving his "horseless carriage" - a Daimler automobile. They formulated a liqueur which would warm and revive His Majesty during his morning excursions, which has been appreciated by spirits enthusiasts ever since.

The King's Ginger Liqueur is a rich, complex spirit with pronounced notes of ginger, lemon zest and golden syrup. Although enjoyable all year long, its sweet spiciness, satisfying ginger bite, delightfully crisp flavor and warming mouthfeel make it ideal for the winter season.
