The Eyrie Vineyards was named after the red tailed hawks that made their homes in the fir trees surrounding the site of the first vines. This golden colored Chardonnay was sourced from those same original vines planted in 1966 and 1974. Aromas of pear, melon, and butterscotch lead to pit fruit flavors with notes of anise on the palate. This complex wine boasts a sweet finish with lingering notes of honey and botanical herbs.
