Stadlmann Zierfandler is spicy, dry and particularly substantial, with pleasant notes of peach and apricot. Zierfandler, a varietal unique to Austria, is planted on only 100-200 hectares in the world; this crisp, refreshing wine would certainly appeal to anyone who enjoys Austrian Riesling or Gruner Veltliner, but the difficult-to-pronounce grape makes an unmistakable and memorable wine. Excellent with light Greek dishes, or a warm afternoon on the porch.
