Shaw Vineyard Riesling Reserve wine is created from grapes produced in their own vineyard as well as sourced grapes from some of the highest-quality growers of the Finger Lakes region. Rich citrus aromas on the nose complement spicy flavors with underlying apricot and smoke. This light bodied, off-dry wine has pleasant, refreshing acidity and layers of aromas that leads to soft earthy notes on the finish.
"Demure in stature yet brooding with power, this late-release 2012 Riesling is compelling evidence of winemaker Steve Shawís soft-spoken dynamism. Semidry in style, itís light as a feather, yet richly layered with shades of grapefruit, spice and smoke. While delicious now, itís rigidly structured still, and likely to continue to improve for many years to come." - Wine Enthusiast
