Born in Bologna seventy years ago, Silvano Samaroli has been selecting and bottling the world's finest whiskies since 1968. At this time, he was the only non-British or non-Scottish person doing this type of work, but he soon gained recognition for his exceptional selections. Later on in his career, he began choosing rums from some of the world's best distilleries and then transporting them to Scotland for maturation. The cooler climate enables longer aging and results in a clean, elegant, more refined rum.

Samaroli Caribbean Rum is a powerful, yet refined blend of rums distilled in 2003. Matured in Scotland until 2011, this complex spirit offers lively notes of vanilla, brown sugar, nutmeg, citrus fruit and roasted nuts. Only 648 bottles produced.
