Ron Barcelo Imperial, distilled from Caribbean sugar cane, is a blend of rums aged up to six years in used bourbon barrels. On the nose, pronounced aromas of brown sugar, cocoa, and tobacco leaf are complemented by hints of leather and oak. The palate is warm and rich, with sweet notes of caramel, vanilla, and honey that extend through to the finish. Balanced, complex, and impeccably smooth, this rum is perfect for cocktails, but can also be enjoyed on its own.
