Located at the base of the Blue Mountains, Reynvaan Family Vineyards is a small, family-owned winery founded in 2004 by Mike and Gale Reynvaan. Extremely low yields, block-by-block fermentation and the exploration of terrior differences are fundamental to their winemaking philosophy, which aims to truly capture the character of the Walla Walla Valley.
Reynvaan "In The Rocks" is a beautifully complex Syrah which has been blended with a touch of Viognier (5%). Spicier than "The Unnamed", this impressive red offers bold aromas of dried cherry, sandalwood, earth and sage, underscored by notes of smoked meat and mushroom. The dense, well-structured palate is packed with dark fruit, licorice and spice, complemented by firm tannins and balanced acidity. Savory notes of black olive and game linger through the finish.
