Renegade Rum Company was created by the same genius behind Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte. This fascinating project seeks and bottles small-batch, exceptional rums from "essential" distilleries of South America and the Caribbean. This rum is part of their highly limited second edition.

Black Rock Distillery was founded in Barbados by a German family in 1893, introducing the column still to the Caribbean, but has been under local ownership since 1903. Unusually, Black Rock Rums are distilled first in a column still, and then undergo a second pot still distillation. This bottling is aged in bourbon barrels, and then undergoes a second maturation in Martinez port casks. This results in a nuanced, elegant spirit with a salmon color and aromas and flavors of red berry fruit, toffee, grain, and smoke. The finish is long and satisfying, inviting you back for another sip. Only 1,590 bottles released.
