Renegade Rum Company was created by the same genius behind Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte. This fascinating project seeks and bottles small-batch, exceptional rums from "essential" distilleries of South America and the Caribbean. This rum is part of their highly limited second edition. Westerhall has been privately owned since 1766, and is now only producing 3 barrels a day of their copper pot still, 100% sugar cane rum. Renegade Rum Company Westerhall Grenada Rum 1996 is an unusual spirit that offers a unique opportunity to own this distillery's rare product. Aged in bourbon casks and finished in Haut Brion barrels, this eleven-year-old, bronze-hued rum is a subtly complex treat. Only 1,260 bottles produced.
