This Old Tom Gin is a historically accurate revival of the predominant Gin in fashion during the mid-1800s. A perfect gin for mixing classic cocktails, it adds a unique element to any concoction. The base herb is malted barley, which is combined with an infusion of botanicals in a high proof corn spirit. The final distillation is run through an alambic pot still in order to preserve the maximum amount of aromatics, flavor, and body. Only the very best part of the distillate is used to create this exceptional spirit.
There are many ingredients used to create this unique recipe, and each one has a distinct influence on the resulting spirit. Aside from corn and malted barley, juniper berries, orange peel, lemon peel, coriander seed, cardamon pods, and angelica root are also incorporated. These key elements result in bold, flavorful gin with robust herbal and citrus notes.
