Each year since it was first introduced thirty years ago, private reserves of Ron Barcelo Imperial have been set aside for additional aging. These reserves were matured in barrels created from selected cuts of white oak, some previously used for the aging of prestigious Bordeaux wines.

Bottled in very limited quantities, Ron Barcelo "30 Aniversario" Imperial Premium Blended Rum is a blend of those private reserves, released thirty years later to honor the anniversary of Ron Barcelo Imperial. An elegant nose of dried fruit, vanilla, caramel and dark chocolate pave the way for a rich, complex palate featuring notes of brown sugar, citrus fruit, cocoa, leather, tobacco and oak. Each collectable bottle is hand-numbered along with the year it was bottled, and is presented in an embossed gift tin along with a wooden display pedestal.
