Hailing from Buffalo Trace Distillery, this limited edition bourbon was created in honor of Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. - one of the founding fathers of the bourbon industry. Produced in extremely limited quantities, Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was matured for eleven years and seven months in Warehouse C, and "Bottled in Bond" at 100 proof. An inviting nose of toasted oak, dried fig and butterscotch leads to a rich, complex palate with intricate notes of orange peel, roasted nuts, charcoal, tobacco, leather and spice. A touch of traditional bourbon sweetness lingers through the intense oak finish.
